Our compostable pouch is made of kraft paper laminated with milky PLA which is made of corn starch, so the bag is 100% biodegradable. Compostable pouches are a new trend in packaging industry. It is good for packaging the products like tea leaves, sweets, cookies and so on. We provide digital printing which is flexible for small order quantity.

PLA is polylactic acid, also known as polylactide. It is a new biodegradable material. It has good biodegradability. After use, it can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature and eventually generate carbon dioxide and water. It does not pollute the environment and is very beneficial to environmental protection. It is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.

Compostable pouch made with PLA is good for frozen products like popsicles, frozen dumplings and so on. Because PLA material is good for low temperature storage, not easy to degrade. For normal condiftion, it can provide about 9 month shelf life, then after 9 months, the pouch will gradually start to degrade. High temperature and high moisture will excess the degradation. So please make sure to keep your compostable pouch in a cool dry place.
