This food package pouch is made of kraft paper laminated with milky PLA which is made of corn starch, so the bag is 100% biodegradable. Biodegradable food package pouches are a new trend in packaging industry.
PLA is polylactic acid, also known as polylactide. It is a new biodegradable material. It has good biodegradability. After use, it can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature and eventually generate carbon dioxide and water. It does not pollute the environment and is very beneficial to environmental protection. It is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.

Below are some introduction about degradation:
1. It will take 180 days that PLA and other biodegradable materials to biodegrade under industrial composting conditions of humidity 65%, temperature 65 degrees Celsius,90% of the organic part is degraded into water and carbon dioxide.
2. It will take 360 days to biodegrade into water and carbon dioxide in household compost of household and kitchen waste.
3. In the natural environment, the degradation of materials begins to degenerate in one year, physical properties completely lost in 3-5 years or even longer, then slowly degraded into water and carbon dioxide, the rate of degradation depends on local environmental conditions, degradation will become faster in high temperature and high humidity.
